I wish to differ. yes, IT is largely a cost centre but can deliver cost
savings, increase efficiency, reduce costs and enhance customer
service/retention, foster innovation, etc ALL of which affect the bottom
line positively. The trend in the last few years is to understand how this
happens and progressive organisations have certain metrics to measure this
impact.
