Dear listers,
The study paints a picture of a multi-layered information ecosystem where
disinformation is fueled by political, economic and personal interests.

Disinformation campaigns create compelling, memorable narratives expressed
in various visual, audio or textual forms which are easily shared on a
variety of media with the effect of amplifying positions or influencing
particular actors.

The study calls for better social media platform governance & responses to
tackle disinformation. Need for enhanced efforts to empower the public to
be
vigilant & capable of identifying disinformation & finding accurate
information
online. https://bit.ly/3ck6atK
