You raise a very pertinent point on SIM hawking. On 2019, the CA issued a
directive banning that and required the purchase of SIM cards from agents.

There was a fine and six months behind bars if found. This indeed, was a
pipe dream. No wonder, many became victims.

As it turns out, let's verify how many numbers are registered with our ID.
For those who do not know, Safaricom has remained consistent in sharing
consumer messages on the Dos and Don'ts.
