Dear Ali and Colleagues,
I have been following developments in the Film Sector and i must admit
there is a serious policy problem in the sector that requires a multi
stakeholder approach to resolve. It appears stakeholders are at cross
purposes. How can the sector regulator enter the playing field yet there
are many budding actors that are struggling?, i also hear the cost of
shooting movies locally is astronomical. What is the point of having all
this fibre optic infrastructure when we pay attention to the content side?,
some of this issues have a direct effect on the cost of hosting services
and even data since we have few users (elites) who only use the Internet to
exchange mail and communicate.
Best Regards
