Waiting @mucheru for Data Protection & Residency guidelines and
legislation. Or is it the Parliamentary Committee on ICT?

Can you imagine what would happen to public officials in the USA, UK, China
or Russia selling contracts to foreigners, depriving their own citizens &
localities of data centers and local talent/skills development?

I believe it high time we fast tract adoption of the Data Protection and
Data Residency act.
The GDPR comes into effect in May and we seem not aligned to that target.
