[kictanet] KENYA POWER'S HUGE APPETITE FOR DEBT IS A RECIPE FOR DISASTER

It looks like the taxpayer is building a parallel National Grid Fibre as is
on the MoU "*memorandum of understanding between the Chinese company ZTE
and the Ministry of Energy and Petroleum which the parties have signed to
finance and build a national grid fibre*"

It's only important the several government agencies inform the public how
this new fibre is complementing NOFBI, how NOFBI has run out of capacity,
shortcomings of NOFBI, etc. Are the different government agencies working
together, or are they in competition?

The more cables we have, the more capacity we have, but the pain is, the
end user will still have to pay the capital expense in deploying them.

Answers from ICT Authority would assure the community.
