Hi Ali,

I read in the news some times back that this was a new business line
of Kenya Power to take advantage of the grid  to provide a fibre
backbone. It appears the extra space on the link will be sold to
TELCO's and Bandwidth Service Providers. Looking at the way the
undersea cables were deployed, my opinion is the more the merrier, it
will create competition whose end result will be affordability due to
price differentiation.
