Some good initiative..to get Wanjiku to also participate in the T-bills---The government wants to take advantage of a nine-month low return on Treasury Bills to float the debut mobile money bond. The return on a three month Treasury Bill fell to 9.060, the lowest since July last year when the rates went down to 8.2 per cent.According to Treasury Cabinet Secretary Henry Rotich, this is the ideal time to float the M-Akiba bond that is supposed to bring in wananchi in providing financing options for government.http://www.nation.co.ke/business/Treasury-prepares-to-issue-debut-mobile-money-bond/-/996/3107416/-/l7c4mj/-/index.html

--Qtns arise.Anyone in the know or can advise on:1. Will Wanjiku be allowed to participate from ANY mobile network or is this thing is ONLY available on one of the Telco players?2. What are the 'commissions' like?  Will the mobile operators charge based on transaction value and yet their role is simply to deliver a simple SMS to Central Bank /Treasury servers?Ni hayo tuu.
