[kictanet] Shared fiber optic infrastruture

Robert

I would pose that question differently. Why are the authorities/regulators allowing each and every telco to do that? This is an infrastructure issue which is pertinent to this country's aspirations according to Vision 2030.

By now there should have been central government or county government by laws to ensure that this nonsensical approach to building out fibre optic networks is stopped forthwith.

This is not only the failure of private sector but the government's too. It's still not too late as the counties are by and large yet to be wired (or dug up).

Can someone wake up? Please?

The cost implications are humongous and the benefit to end users obvious in terms of reduced costs of bandwidth not to mention how this dovetails with the aspirations of Universal Access.
