[kictanet] Nairobi switches to digital TV signal by December 31

Why not ban the import of any more analogue TVs? Just insist that any TV
that is imported from now on must either have a built in Digital decoder or
be accompanied by a settop box. No exceptions.
Educate the public that after a certain date they must insist on buying a
TV with a settop box or that is digitally ready. Maintain the campaign for
a year and those that do not comply simply watch static after the deadline.
The deadline I agree is rather abrupt but we cant dilly dally and flip flop
on such issues.
Anyone who can afford a TV can afford a settop box.
