[kictanet] LISTERS WHERE ARE YOU?

Wamuyu,

I think you may be mistaken. At this stage we are not taking sides with any
views or responding to all views. We may not even have the answers to everything
you may ask. The purpose of such moderated discussions is to collate all views
then they will be consolidated into one report which will be thrashed at a
Stakeholders Forum. You would all be invited. It would not be right for me or
even the Ministry to respond to every view. My role is to moderate and as such I
must be impartial. I hope this encourages you to write as much as you like...and
I am sure you will see your views captured in the report at the end. Of course
if there is anyone on the list who would like to give their view on your queries
they are very welcome to do so.

I hope this clarifies anyone who was waiting for a specific response.

Best Regards,

Catherine

Subject: Re: [kictanet] LISTERS WHERE ARE YOU?

Hello Catherine,

We are interested but I note some people views have been dismissed or not
responded to. For example, Mureithi raised important points on development vs
regulation that are substantive. I also asked a question about which media
regulatory body is referred to in the Constitution CCK or Media Council.
Although these issues may be outside the discussion structure, you may want to
pay attention to them as they are what is of initial concern to listers who have
contributed - to enable them to engage further.

Thanks for leading the discussion!
