[kictanet] Automated Milk Weighing System

Hi.

India has had an automated milk weighing system that not only weighs but
checks the milk for fat content and processes payments (in some cases on the
spot) so that farmers have no doubt what their milk is worth and when
they'll get paid. I haven't heard of anything similar here and wondered if
this would work here and probably also be adopted for other agricultural
goods, especially maize. Is there anyone from USAID's Kenya Dairy Sector
Competitiveness Project on the list to shed a little light?
