Guys, 

I have been going through the very many maqils circulated here and I wish to make my remarks today as follows;

a) There must have been loss of focus somwhere in the discussions and I suggest for a review of structures governing discussions as envisaged in its constitution if any
b) Matters of representation has been of no concern here. its paradoxical learning that ICT issues are being discussed and implemented in Nairobi without considering to involve those in the grassroot. ( either divisions or District levels) Don't we have have brains there or we care less?
- Whats your thoights here? 
c) we have been more theoretical than practical, neither realistic may be we need to change. 
d) I suggest we change the objective of the forums so that it would include all kenyans. Its bad noting that Nairobi is kenya and Nakuru is riftvalley. 

Don't you think its the time to change this?

Unfortunately I dont have a straight answer to the above.  BUT the key guidelines are that: 
1. the topics introduced should revolve around ICT Policy/Activities &
2. observe some diplomacy - particularly when addressing the 'imagined-guilty" party given that there are always two or more sides of a story.

So If someone was to talk about corruption in say the Maize-industry members would rule them out of order unless ofcourse one is explaining how computers were used in the process :-).  

But more seriously, most members are worried about the lack of diplomacy on the list. There's a way we can disagree on issues without necessary degenerating to our lowest instincts. And this is where the Americans and other democracies have beaten us.  Because they are able to present their opposing views without necessary boiling down to personality wars. Stay civil - today's enemy maybe your tomorrow's friend and vice-versa.
