Very true! I was humbled by a community in the Mukurweini area of Nyeri.
They run thoroughbred dairy goat farms, Mr. Masumbuko an organic farm
- where just one cow produces cooking gas, also used for lighting at night,
produces milk, manure, and so much more from just one cow!

My area community ICT projects focal point are trustees and manage a
nature park acclaimed for birds watching, if you like birds and nature that is.

They run a community bulletin board where, for example, loss of tree news are
reported.

Mururi has fallen at Kiheheti, On the night of Mon, 24 April 2006 at about 0001h, we lost the tallest tree at Wajee Nature Park, a Mururi tree estimated to be about 350yrs.
Please send your condolences to all other trees, that have been left without a good Forest Adviser.
Please plant a tree in memory of this irreplaceable loss. The Mururi is now at “Tree Heaven”.
