Hi Benson,

On the aspect of having information on .KE domain names available when doing a business Registration, we noted that this is a critical area where we should have the domain service available.

Currently, there are conversations going on to ensure this is achieved, as we strive to get people secure their brand names online on .KE.

Thank you for the insights.

Kind Regards,

Thanks for a nice event.

It is interesting that when registering a business in Rwanda, there is
information and a link to obtain a .rw domain name:
https://org.rdb.rw/

Internationalized domain names are becoming quite useful, for example:
.сайт
.संगठन
.健康

It would be great to have
.biashara
.kampuni
possibly even
.serikali
Though it is unclear if this should be for Kenya, Tanzania or the East
African community. Perhaps taking the following example from a
particular American website:

"An official website of the United States government
Dot gov

The .gov means it’s official.
Federal government websites often end in .gov or .mil. Before sharing
sensitive information, make sure you’re on a federal government site.
Https

The site is secure.
The https:// ensures that you are connecting to the official website and
that any information you provide is encrypted and transmitted securely."

First come first served! As an example, we have
https://www.hudumacentre.co.ke/
and
https://www.hudumakenya.go.ke/
