Join Mzalendo for a High-Level Forum on Digital and Data Infrastructure
Policies to Promote an Inclusive and Secure Digital Economy.

 

The forum which discusses the Policy Brief

Mzalendo Trust on 15th October 2021 virtually. The Brief delineates
stakeholders in the digital economy ecosystem and addresses the unique
situation of the quest for a Kenyan consumer at the Bottom of the Pyramid
(BoP) to meaningfully participate and thrive in a digital economy. Further,
it identifies actions and stakeholders to empower BoP. Key among the
stakeholders is the Ministry responsible for ICT, ICT regulatory authority,
women, youth and PWD groups, Civil Society Organizations & service providers
for a collaborative and collective approach to address the challenges.

 

Consequently, Mzalendo Trust seeks to bring together a variety of
stakeholders to sensitize them on the findings of the Policy Brief. This
will be in line with the Constitution of Kenya 2010, Data Protection Act,
2019 and digital economy laws in Kenya.
