The above refers. 

KICTANet and the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner would like to take this opportunity to invite you to a virtual meeting for review and comments on the Data Protection Regulations that the Taskforce on Development of Data Protection Regulations has come up with. These are:-

1. Data Protection (General) Regulations, 2021
These set out the procedures for enforcement of the rights of the data subjects, as well as elaborating on the duties and obligations of the data controllers and data processors.
2. Data Protection (Registration of Data Controllers and Data Processors) Regulations, 2021
These regulations define the procedure that will be adopted by the Office of the Data Commissioner in registering data controllers and processors as per the Data Protection Act.
3. Data Protection (Compliance and Enforcement) Regulations, 2021
These regulations outline the compliance and enforcement provisions for Data Commissioner, Data Controllers and Data Processors. 

In attendance will be the Data Commissioner and the Taskforce Members.
