Today I want to remind all of us how important Net Neutrality is.
Let’s play part in keeping alive the conversation on Net Neutrality.
Net Neutrality. A term most of us, even those who are in the ICT Sector, dismiss or simply don’t take the time to understand.
#NetNeutrality is the principle that Internet service providers treat all data on the Internet the same, and not discriminate or charge differently by user, content, website, platform, application, type of attached equipment, or method of communication. For instance, under these principles, internet service providers are unable to intentionally block, slow down or charge money for specific websites and online content. This is sometimes enforced through government mandate.
Imagine if Safaricom PLC today decided to block Tala, Equity Bank Limited or other competitors from its networks?

I humbly request The Communication Authority of Kenya to break the long and loud silence on this issue and give us direction as the regulator.
