Cybersecurity Tech Accord Announces That it Has Endorsed MANRS

Exciting news! 9 August 2018, a coalition of more than 40 companies,
Cybersecurity
Tech Accord <http://www.cybertechaccord.org/> announced that it has
endorsed MANRS, Mutually Agreed Norms for Routing Security
<https://www.manrs.org/2018/08/tech-companies-endorse-manrs-routing-security-actions/>.
MANRS is an important global initiative coordinated by the Internet Society
to improve the Internet's security and reliability by protecting its
routing infrastructure.

In its announcement, Cybersecurity Tech Accord
<https://www.internetsociety.org/blog/2018/08/tech-companies-endorse-manrs-routing-security-actions/>
noted
that its signatories "…strongly believe that a more robust and secure
global routing infrastructure demands shared responsibility and coordinated
actions…" and called MANRS a "fantastic example" of a partnership working
toward the common good of a more secure online environment.

*Input on New Policy Paper: Innovations In Spectrum Management *- Enabling
community networks and small operators to connect the Unconnected

You can view the PDF version at: isoc.box.com/v/public-preview
For additional ISOC CN information, please see this landing page:
www.internetsociety.org/issues/community-networks
For our campaign messaging related to CNs, please see this landing page
#SwitchItOn: www.internetsociety.org/shapetomorrow/switchiton

The review period will run from 10-24 August.
We particularly would be interested in your input on the following:

1. This briefing paper is longer than most as the topic is complex and we
wanted to provide a global perspective with specific country information.
Are there any major points that we missed in the coverage of the issues?
Was the spectrum over-view section helpful?

2. Will the paper help you "start" a conversation in your region? Would a
two-page synthesis of the paper (in addition to the Executive Summary) be
useful?
We welcome your comments. Please send them to Jane Coffin (coffin at isoc.org)
and Konstantinos Komaitis (komaitis at isoc.org).
