[kictanet] Airtel to merge with Telkom

What ails the Telco Space in Kenya?

1. Is this dominance talk about how strong Safaricom PLC is a self fulfilling prophecy?

2.What really ails competition in the sector? Is it a case of real #MarketFailure, Regulatory failures or simply lack of execution from Safaricom’s competition?

3. Is a duopoly better for the market?

4. What happens if the merger actually happens and it is unable to stem the red ink? I’m yet to be convinced that two donkeys will make a racing horse.
