As part of the Kenya IGF week, we held the 2ND edition of the Kenya School of Internet Governance (KeSIG)  from July 3-5, 2017.

KeSIG program aims to add new voices to the Internet Governance ecosystem by building capacity of Internet stakeholders to understand Internet governance and other related issues.

Training areas included:

  1.  Introduction to Internet Governance.

  2.  Main issues in Internet Governance.

  3.  Internet Governance processes and how to be involved.

  4.  Kenya’s Internet Governance policy /legal framework(s), Internet Governance Issues in Kenya.

We are indebted to the people who made it a success.

This year the Kenya School of Internet Governance had 45 participants drawn from different stakeholder backgrounds: 11 from the Government, 8 from the tech community, 4 from the academia, 15 from the civil society (4 from the legal fraternity and others from human rights groups and media).
