@Collins/John, i find such a system as very vital and when some IT
professionals design its database like junior high school students, it
beats logic....what was so hard in using the id no or passportno as its
primary key or better still us a composite key...basic stuff that just
makes one wonder when such issues arise in a database of such magnitude.
Auto-incrementing the primary key here is suicidal in my opinion.
The designer is either a total novice or deserves disciplinary action.
