This list has been consistent on the issue of Net Neutrality. We have urged
policy makers to make this a priority. This is also on the ICT Wish List
presented to the new team at the ICT Ministry. We are making steps. Slow
ones for sure but I have faith in the new team to elevate this issue to the
importance it deserves.
However some of these issues can become non-issues very quickly if we
provide affordable connectivity, get the Universal Service Fund off its fat
behind and get moving in the right direction.
Nature dislikes a vacuum and like anything else when we fail to provide an
affordable alternative foreign players will come in to entice you with
'free' everything.
Lets be clear:-
THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A FREE LUNCH.
