Today Friday 12 August 2016, the 2016 Kenya Internet Governance Forum (KIGF) will be held in Nairobi. This year's event has a simple format - five discussions will examine in depth these topics: Internet Governance in Kenya; Blockchain & Mobile Money; Internet and Elections; Access to Local OTT Content; Cybersecurity and Child Online Protection. The KIGF's outcomes will feed into the Global IGF in Guadalajara Mexico in December 2016 which has the theme “Enabling Inclusive and Sustainable Growth.” The Kenya event, which is sold out, will be webcast live on the Internet Society Livestream Channel 2.
