In the National Broadband strategy, one area of focus was National
co-ordination in complementary infrastructure deployment. The key issue was
amendment of Roads Act or any other relevant legislation to cater for the
provision of ICT infrastructure along and across roads and railways. The
expected outcome was to Stimulate investment, and ease deployment of ICT
infrastructure. One of the implementing agency was the Ministry of Roads
and infrastructure
