Dr. Waudi,

Mr. Badru was a candidate too despite resigning, and anyway the Eastern
African seat was  due for renewal.

I hope other members who were present can shed  more light on the
happenings of the public Board meeting.

Of interest were the accountability and transparency issues raised by
members and the community in this critical times where Transparency and
Accountability are one of the tracks necessary for the IANA functions
Stewardship from the National Telecommunications and Information
Administration (NTIA) to the global Multistakeholder community
