@Ngigi,
Sure.  Good idea.  But this comes AFTER the issues are floated randomly on the table.  Then we collate, distill and even vote.
So drop/float the issues out as random as they come. Then we distill later.

Walu,
I am thinking, in order to make this 'chewable' and to ensure that we have something *solid* we could follow up on from Mr CS, why don't you condense all the issues into say 10 (as I am sure a lot of the issues will be repeated across the board), then quickly ask guys to vote for those 10 and we pick on Top 5 issues to present as KICTANET Community issues.

Listers,
 You have had from the CS himself.  Bring out the ideas so that we compile into one report.  Dont think or research too hard..since that is already done in our V2030, ICT Masterplan, National Broadband Plans etc.
What we need to collect is really the quick wins..those #Magufuli_Moments...things that can make us feel the future is bright :-)
I have one more...
* Use tyranny of numbers (in Parliament) to pass the Access to Information Act.

I would wish for better focus on the transition of our tech Resources from the universities to the labor force.
How can we manage that better?

Walu,For me its painful to see the differences in access to data between Nrb and the counties. The posta internet cyber cafes were the best thing in the late 90's. Maybe this can be resuscitated so as to being 'affordable' internet to the masses.On 22 Dec 2015 09:35, "Walubengo J via kictanet" <kictanet at lists.kictanet.or.ke> wrote:

Then I thought...maybe we should add on his inbox a few of our own ideas/ICT wishlist. Something for them (Victor+Itemere) to do in the first 100days.  After that it is often impossible to make an impact.
Here's my wishlist
1. Use technology to get rid of the legendary Nairobi Jam2. Get ICTs to Counties i.e. Kenya is NOT Nairobi and Nairobi is NOT Kenya :-)3. Return the Subsidized Laptop program for  University Students (Wezesha program)4. Resolve the contentious Safaricom 'Dominance' Question.5. ?6. ?

Plse add your ideas before logging off for Xmas this thrsday.
regards.
walu.
