[kictanet] Cofek to sue CCK for defaulting on television deal

Simpler analogy...

Suppose one lives not so far away from Muthaiga Country Club. That person claims can never afford matatu fare to be visiting beautiful open air Uhuru Park in the city centre. Muthaiga Club offers the person a more affordable membership and a bonus 2-week free lift to the club, even after their membership has expired.

The person says NO! "Every person, by virtue of being resident in Kenya, must be granted free lift and unfetted access to all open spaces at Muthaiga Country Club at all times, save for accessing inside the Club House(s)."

Well, well, well ...  very humourous.

(decoders) that do not require subscriptions. Allowing any person with
the appropriate receiving equipment to receive the digital signal and
view or listen to the content without requiring other ongoing cost or
one-off fee.

@ Ali, so this option 2 means there is going to be a monthly charge for the FTA channels? If this is the case, then Lucy's house manager is right.

Startimes has had an Ad running where they are offering two options

1. FTA one which I think is substantially higher. I think almost 5k
2. Subscription one which is like 2k.
