[kictanet] ICT Authority Board Appointments Quashed by the High Court

Seems to me like the antagonists/protagonists in this debate are more
interested in a power play than in actual solutions.

Boards of corporations have to be kept small, multi-skilled and efficient
to allow for better decision making. The solution to bring in
"non-qualified", or external expertise is to set up board committees -
which most by-laws allow and which usually do not have a limit on
membership.

So, guys, forget about the power politics, focus on the business and
objectives of the organization and get these comittees to work....oops, I
forgot, the board has been disbanded....

le sigh,

Mblayo
