@Matunda,
This article is what a Rendile would call cow manure, please contact Kenya Publishers Association (www.kenyapublishers.org) and notify them that their web site is broken, their emails are never responded to, their telephones are never answered and their domain does not reflect their ability or willingness to supporting a local initiative.
I have been trying to contact the association for over a week now to invite them to the forum on the laptops that will take place on the 4th of July at Strathmore, but from my attempts it is clear that all they know is printing with ink on paper unfortunately the laptops have no way of being loaded with printed copies unless we supply each child with a scanner (still possible with the 53 billion budget, but do we want to?).
The association needs to show capacity,
understanding and willingness to go electronic and that does not need government intervention they should be showcasing their offerings instead of giving interviews for print about how digital they are.
Let us support those who have shown an initiative to help themselves.
Regards
PS. Hope to see you and the association members at Strathmore on the 4th
