[kictanet] Kenya ICT Masterplan to be launched tomorrow

I like the thinking of the ICT Board but we need to examine at it critically. I don't think number two below, i.e 2.  Kenya will become the leading ICT HUB in Africa attracting leading global players and generating globally respected local entrepreneurship and innovation is well thought-out. We sort of tend to assume that other countries will be at a stand-still although of course we can achieve that if we invest both monetary and human resources.  I am always sceptical of superlatives. So instead of 'the' the definitive clause, 'a' would do … so we will be among the countries to have achieved that status as in: Kenya will become a leading … 

Just some thoughts.
