[kictanet] Obamas message

This is the kind of message we and particularly  our  politicians should be
preaching day in day out until we are through with the elections. The pain
we went through in 2008 when Kenyans fell on each other with machetes had
nothing to do with the Americans yet when we sort help we ran to them and
the rest of the world. The kind of diatribe we see in the media, even in
the social media is not helpful for peace in this country. We must not
forget it is we Kenyans who can demonstrate to the rest of the world that
we can manage our own affairs. It is only then that the international
community will come calling, not with aid but investments. After all as
they say charity begins at home.
