Hi Cecilia,

That message was a hoax. If your mum is using whatsapp for the first
time she should not have to pay for it, they say that its a one year
trial free period thought I'm not sure what happens after that. Safe
to say that no one I know in Kenya pays for whatsapp, so tell her to
try and download it again, the free app.
