[kictanet] Wardless registration & the diaspora

Hi,

IEBC had initially indicated that we shall be able to register from any registration center and select ones preferred voting center, when I went to register I was informed that this was not the case and that the center where I register will be my polling station.

 If that is the case does it mean that the USA is now a part of Kenya and what is the name of the ward, constituency and county?

The reason for not allowing wardless registration was a fear of manipulation of the data as it traveled across the wide area network (how do ATMs & the SWIFT system offer secure transactions?)

The other reason is that it will allow for easier voter ferrying as they will only need to appear at the specific polling stations on election day, so isn't that the situation with the 4 M people in the diaspora?
