The beauty with freedom of expression is exactly that one can write their perspectives and others have a right to do the same. Personal memoirs/autobiographies are bound to be exaggerated. As a publisher I see this always in works (most of which we reject) submitted to us.

You have a chance to write your perspective otherwise what is written standards for "truth" for future generations.

One fact though: even mad men occasionally make a point even if they are not the best suited messengers.
