Hi Listers,
As a founder Director of KICTANET, I congratulate all of you for this contributions because they truly warm our hearts to know that we have somehow achieved our vision.
Robert, let me tell you, you don't know how many times I quote you the way also my mother quotes the announcers in the vernacular radio stations as if she is quoting from the bible even though she has never called in to the radio show discussions.
As for those who are proposing revamping, I will say like the incoming World bank president, coming from medicine field he only administers medicine that he has evidence it works and its safe.
Show me your evidence for your prescription and I am with you.

@Gilda,
the ball is actually in EACH of our courts. I am also humbled by the former PS Murage's testimony. Think about it, this guy was for along time the President's Strategy Advisor - perhaps KICTAnet has had policy impact from the highest levels of this land (we all deserve some some consultancy fee from Govt ;-).
But am sure we can make even bigger strides as get more feedback from the membership. I assume GG is moderating, based on her recent summary. Keep the conversation going.

next 10 years, review where we are, evaluate any shortfalls and come up with
possible suggestions. We have evolved but we could be further. As Brian
mentioned, this can be taken to the higher level once determined.I'd like
to see more than 10 companies winning global competitions (why not?), lower
Internet rates with greater speeds, many more innovations (because we have what
it takes). My take is that we can do much more- let us up our game.

Gilda. However, it may be useful to hear from some lurkers as to why
they are not active participants of the forum (there is not so much from
the sisters :)). Maybe there is something that can be done to allow for
more participation? I have for example received
comments off-list when I have moderated debates, and my
question to those listers is that it would be nice for them to raise the
very good comments here on this forum. Again, the aim is to strengthen
the forum and have it continue to remain relevant.
