It's not a strongman who would make Kenya become what it was in the 1960s,
rather, it's the attitude of the people towards accountability and
integrity. Kagame will go but Rwanda will remain. Kenyatta passed on but
Kenya is still here.
With the right attitude, we can go far. Look at it this way, why are the
current political class yearning to be the leaders of Kenya, is not because
they have the passion for Kenya. They want:

   1. to maintain the *status quo* - make the poor more poor and rich more
   richer
   2. to protect their interests - because by becoming a president,
   personal assets can in a way be protected by the state machinery.

Just interrogate their manifestos and you'll see what it's all about.
Although most of the time we blame leaders, it's   very important to
develop the remain people who are informed, intellect and guard the rule of
law. Kenya, we must remember is bigger than individuals.

That's how the dream of the new Kenya, can be achieved.
