[kictanet] How to fix public transport

In addition to man and woman hours wasted in traffic, the expoitation of commuters by Matatus is sickening. I have just learnt from one of my facebook friends that there was traffic on Thika Road in the evening near Muthaiga, and they had to pay Kes 150 to Kasarani. Dont Kenyas need proper and just fares? Seriously....

That is what frustrates me the most.

Everyone has overtaken us, starting from the Koreans who came here in the 60s to learn from us to the Rwandans who are overtaking us in leaps and bounds.

What use are blueprints and manifestos and plans if we never execute?

If we calculated how many man hours are wasted in commutes to and from work a day that figure would be staggering.
