Dear Collins,

We appreciate your concern on the issue of opening up the .ke top level domain for registration.

The rationale behind opening registrations at the second level domain only was to create a diversity of the registrations that can be done in the .ke ccTLD.

This is the model that has been adopted by most ccTLDs managers, which in a way, helps to avoid domain disputes in cases where a two entities with different orientation share a common name.

I hope this clarifies your concern.

Regards,
