Not very long ago, we had a Telecommunication monopoly called Jambonet, that
was meant to control
internet connectivity for the whole country. Until some valiant
Telecommunication lobbyists from the
private sector, including the likes of Mr. Richard Bell and the rest fought
for space in this industry, we
would not be enjoying what we now enjoy. In a little less than 10 years, see
now where things stand..
Competitiveness breeds efficiencies..
Am afraid, the energy sector needs a complete overhaul..
Question, where do we start..? I believe we can take this beyond the rants
and raves on lists.

In Africa we want change, but few understand the cost of change and are
willing to pay for it.
Change demands more, the same way freedom demands more responsibility.
As for Kenya Power, isn't it weird that we all complain, but it is only the
island of Jersey that is concerned with how a Kenyan Parastatal was managed
in the past ?
