The BBC Bureau in Kenya has today sent a team to the hotel where William proposed to Kate.
So either way, Kenya can still benefit from the whole thing.

A 'booth at the fairy tale wedding'? Somehow I doubt it's going to be that kind of village fair event where you can rent a booth.
But how about 'For weddings and a funeral - royals heard it first in Kenya'?

I fully agree with you Charles. In the Western world (on which we depend
heavily for things like BPO, tourism, investment, etc) people live off
perceptions. The perceptions are on their part created by media stories.
In Vilnius, someone from a Western country told me they will not come
for the Kenya IGF because of worries over al Shabab. Others use excuses
like tribal clashes, cholera, street crime, etc. The media story of the
Prince proposing in Kenya is a positive message sent all over the world
that Kenya is more than safe.
