Dr Siganga,
My input on next weeks agenda would be as follows:
With regard to the theme i propose IG, transforming lives reforming Nations.
Question number 2: the 2009 meeting was all inclusive and truly
multistakeholder, i also appreciate the fact that the youth and
important constituency in global affairs was well represented , the
fact that Children made presentations on how IG affects them is an
important indicator on what IG can achieve if the momentum is
maintained, it is my humble opinion that the mandate of IG should be
extended in all fairness.
Regarding the format of the meeting i suggest we maintain the format
and the standards that were at Sharm el Sheikh in Vilnius, i know
there is room for improvement, congratulations to members of the MAG
and other stakeholders involvement in organisation of the meeting at
Sharm.
I also support the idea of putting emphasis on Regional IGf's however
we need to see more government participation and commitment in terms
of resources.
Thank you
