[kictanet] Cable issues

As I recall, this is a discussion that has gone on for close to a decade now if not more. For years, the discussion about say, the mobile providers sharing infrastructure has been ongoing unfruitfully. Now we have advanced it to cable and we are still talking about it. I was wondering why KPLC would be trying to invest I their own cable with NOFBI and KDN so well covering parts of Kenya... Why not invest further in them by providing real estate (their poles) and finance so we can then get a KPLC cable-to-the-home product instead? Surely its more cost effective?

On this, I do think CCK lead more prominently and they should be seen to lead on the matter...

Today, the discussion is vandalism... Tomorrow looms the more compelling discussion about how we are addressing ourselves to climate change with all this duplication.

We have been warned..

Well said Evans. In my view, if all players were sharing the infrastructure, no
one would be complaining of being sabotaged.
They would all focus their energies if at all vandalism takes place on uniting
to put an end to the vandalism, rather than the current scenario.
