My argument on this, will revolve around issue number 2:

KENIC is charged with .ke domain names registration. This is indeed an
important step in promoting local content something which faced a lot of
challenges, due to the preference of western ideas.

If the regulator, CCK in this case, decides to shut down a domain, then that
means the regulator's needs will only put up what they think is better
according to their estimation.

While it is fine for the content to be controlled, it would be against the
Freedoms enshrined in, say, the constitution, will denied.

My problem is what business does CCK have in disabling any .ke domain if
there are no legal parameters put in place to sufficiently control such
media.

In my opinion, the local content is under threat as more and more
(especially the upcoming domains) would rather be .com instead of .ke. This
is not the best way to promote local content.
