[kictanet] Controversial Media Bill is Amended

I just heard it on Nation radio. Waruru and Dr. Ndemo enlighten us on the deal reached. I sure hope the clause on registering journalists was struck off.

I stand my ground in support of "Registering journalists is a code word for censorship", because we cannot trust future regimes to be as democratic as the current. Genuine risk of use to suppress "non-journalists" opinions (like me, sometimes).
