While vision and mission statements do need to be short, I think the
proposed mission is too much so.

Shouldn't  there be a second part which starts 'through...', where the main
means of achieving reform and development are identified (research,
consensus building, whatever)?

Even as we continue thinking about the final Vision
statement, I would wish to open the 'e-floor' for comment
on the Mission Statement.

At the risk of sounding conclusive, I wish to have the
first go and all I have done is to restate what is largely
included in the original mission.  My proposal is given
below:

KICTANet Mission: To act as a catalyst for reform and
development in the ICT sector.

I am thinking the other details can come up as
Objectives...

Let's hear from the rest please!
