[Kictanet] RE: KICTANet Civil Society Caucus Meeting Report

Hi Walubengo, Lizette & others,

As indicated in Alice’s email, the meeting was principally meant to
discuss several issues that related to the civil society sector within
KICTANet (see report for details). The issue of migration of KIPlist
members into the KICTANet list was also part of the agenda. Florence
Etta was therefore invited to the meeting but did not make it to the
meeting. I believe she had other commitments at the time.

The multistakeholder KICTANet meeting will be held as earlier scheduled
and any clarification on issues may best be discussed at that meeting.

Overall, the objective was to have a face-to-face meeting to reduce the
misrepresentations that may occur/have occurred online and allow members
to discuss contentious issues in a diplomatic manner; with the benefit
of immediate feedback/clarification.

Warm regards,
Wainaina

Whao!

I am as lost as Lizette,

Looks like this Monday meeting was really 'under-cover' ;-).

All along, I have been thinking we shall be meeting this Friday 7th Oct
2005! Does yesterdays meeting therefore nullify the Friday 7th meet?
Or
was the Monday meet having nothing to do with the Friday meet?...was
there
a Friday 7th Oct meeting? Who is meeting Who? KICTANET/KIPLIST/??/

Alice, someone, tell (some of) us.

walu.
