any caliber in matters energy, I do know that as long as there is a kind of consumer
service, it is bound to attract all kinds of actors including quacks, just like any other sectors. The fact is that the opportunities attract criminal elements
whose products and processes would injure uptake of what is essentially a good
technology. As long
as there is a supply chain involved in how the solar power is produced and received
ultimately by the consumer, there need to be standards and structure, so government
regulation in the long run is inevitable. What the regulation should be doing is
to seek to set those standards and structure and enhance growth in the sector rather
than introduce prohibitive rules and licensing fees and numerous other
