As part of the process to turn the GDPR into UK law last year, an amendment<br>
was passed requiring the ICO (UK Data Protection Authority) to develop an<br>
Age Appropriate Design Code to recognize that children (anyone under 18) are<br>
a vulnerable group who deserve extra protections regarding their personal<br>
data. <br>
<br>
The attached booklet, produced by the 5Rights foundation give an easy<br>
explanation of the Code that was developed by the ICO. It also explains how<br>
the Code can be easily implemented without complicated age verification.<br>
