<div>The 2017 BPF focussed on the important role of good cybersecurity to enable ICTs and Internet technologies to contribute to development and the achievement of the SDGs. </div>
<div>The BPF also explored what security areas would benefit from further multistakeholder dialogue.</div>

<div>On behalf of the BPF Coordinators, Markus Kummer and Olusegun Olugbile, and the BPF Lead-Expert, Maarten Van Horenbeeck, I’d like to thank all who contributed throughout the year to the BPF and enriched its discussions.</div>
